Crime and violence are symptoms to the fundamental necessity for hope, love, & purpose. We will be resolute in our commitment to serve our neighbOURs. Our store manager is a Christian pastor who lives and loves this neighbOURhood. We have the best equipment and unrivaled customer relations. Our mobile technology to refund, troubleshoot equipment, and monitor safety is second to none.
A laundromat is not the goal but a platform to usher our Guests to the resources, services, and programs already available. We uphold an asset-based approach to civic development. We diminish risk behavior as we accentuate each individuals’ strengths, talents, and God-given capacities.
We will assist our Guests by providing convenience and assistance in bringing in their laundry from their vehicle. We are not passive but pursue relationship with a simple – and heartfelt – question. How might we pray for you today?
- Your grandson in trouble … again? We’ll be his advocate and provide transportation to and from a new job.
- Your landlord threatening to evict? We’ll establish a savings account to ensure rent is withdrawn without penalty.
- Your sister abused by her boyfriend? We have access to local nonprofit who will walk alongside of her tonight.
- Receive notice about your utilities? We’ll make the phone call. Better yet we’ll get a group of volunteers to weatherproof your home and save you money on future utility bills!
- Lack reliable transportation? We’ll get you connected, even take you to your appointment. We’ll work tirelessly to bring services, programs, and resources to our neighbOURhood.
- Are you a felon? We want to employ you for a few months and then give you 3+ job opportunities.
- Stress have you overweight? Next door is a new grocery store with fresh produce – even a dietician who makes healthy taste delicious.
- Want to get married? Let’s schedule pre-marital sessions to ensure you enjoy a vibrant relationship anticipating 25- even 50-year anniversary together.
- Facing a surgery? We will pray with you and be available as you recover – both in the hospital room and back at your home.
- Have a dream? We’ll believe in you and assist with accessing available scholarships to continue your education.
